Westcott Speed Ring for Cat# 2103-FC, M300, M500 and M600

All metal construction. Unlike our competition, Westcott speed rings are constructed using a solid, die-cast framework which adds strength and longevity to the product. Westcott speedrings are designed to rotate 360-degrees once placed on the light head. This is done by placing Teflon washers between the center insert and the outer ring, offering a smooth transition when rotating the inner ring. Lightweight design. Units are constructed from lightweight and durable aluminum. One ring fits all! This versatile design allows for use with a softbox, Stripbank or Octabank

500 W/S Monolight

The Novatron M500 has two power ranges of 500 watt-secs (HI) and 125 watt-secs (Low) with each range infinitely variable over a 2-1/2 f-stop range. The unit also has an internal slave trigger that may be disabled if desired. The modeling light is switchable permitting full lamp output, lamp fully off, or lamp ratio that tracks the flash power settings. A unique, new feature of these monolights is the addition of a special slide mount that provides convenient adjustment of head position. This makes it possible to maintain perfect balance regardless of whether you are using a 5 foot soft box or no light modifiers at all.

The M500 Monolight comes equipped with a plug-in 700 watt-second flash tube that is color corrected to 5500 degrees Kelvin (daylight), a 250-watt halogen modeling lamp, an 15 foot power cord, a 2032 Reflector, an MI001 sync cord and a 4040 mounting bracket. The lever handle allows the bracket to be tightened more securely with less hand pressure. This bracket has an adapter base which mounts to a standard 5/8″ stud.

Features a deep rear rim and snaps in place on the front rim of all Novatron’s 6-1/2″ reflectors. It fully covers the Flashhead’s reflector and avoids any annoying light leakage. The 8″x 8″ channel holds any one of the filters found in the 4021 Kit.

This Gel and Diffusion Material Holder features a deep rear rim and snaps in place on the front rim of all Novatron’s 6.5″ reflectors. It fully covers the instrument’s reflector to avoid spill. The 8″x 8″ channel holds any one of the filters found in the 4021 Gel And Diffusion Material Kit.

Use it with our flash heads that have built-in reflectors that fits all of our current bare tube heads, Monolights, and continuous lights.

Our 2100 C Standard Flash Head is exactly what many Novatron users are looking for as a main light source. The convenient 15-foot cable keeps the light source close to the power pack and camera while the shooting space remains neat and organized.

Since it’s your main light it requires no switching options.
It has :
· 1000 watt-second flash tube
· 100 watt Tungsten incandescent modeling lamp
· solid aluminum mounting bracket with large knobs for securing the bracket to a light stand or boom.

Novatron flash heads demonstrate the most efficient flash emission available in the industry. Each head is subjected to 100% quality checks at each step of fabrication and assembly. The fully assembled heads are, again, 100% tested under load for a minimum of 100 firings as a final inspection. Novatron flash tubes are color corrected to a color temperature of 5500 degree Kelvin (daylight). Novatron flash heads come in two categories, un-switched and switched. To avoid damage, switched heads must not be used in the stop-down mode without at least one other head set to full power. Damage of this nature voids the warranty. All standard line heads including 2140-C, 2120-C, 2110-C, 2105-C, and 2100-C, come factory equipped with a 6-1/2″ fixed high efficiency parabolic reflector and factory replaceable flash tube. All Novatron standard line flash heads are configured with our 4045, 5/8″ adapting mounting brackets. The brackets used in heavy duty applications such as large soft boxes may benefit by the use of the optional 4049 locking heavy duty handle kit which replaces the tilt knob with a 3-1/2″ handle.

The 2140-C is a 3-way switching flash head that contains the controls to independently ratio the flash and modeling lamp at full, -1 stop, or -2 stops. This flash head cannot be switched fully off. It’s equipped with a 100 watt modeling lamp, a 25-foot power cord, and a 4045 mounting bracket.
