ROSCO THERMASHIELD FILTER 12″ X 12″ SHEET
Specially coated film reflects infrared energy to extend the life of color in super hot lighting fixtures.

When heat is a problem in television, theatre, display or architectural lighting, Thermashield is the answer. Thermashield reduces the adverse effects of heat on performers and products used in commercials. Where hot lamps are used, it helps protect plastic color filters as well as other heat sensitive objects.
Rosco’s Thermashield is an optical grade polyester film, finished on one side with a proprietary vacuum-deposited multi-layer coating. Set in the beam of a lighting instrument, it will reflect back infra-red energy, effectively reducing the radiated heat, while transmitting 80% of the visible light.
It is important to allow air space between the Thermashield and the color filter. This will allow much of the otherwise damaging heat energy to dissipate. It is necessary to affix Thermashield with the coated side facing the lamp. Each sheet of Thermashield is clearly marked so that users can easily identify which side of the clear film should be facing the lamp. If the label becomes detached, or if the sheet is cut so that the label is no longer available, there is an alternative technique. When tested with an ohm meter, only the coated side (the side which must face the lamp) will be conductive.

Matte Black Cinefoil is a matte black aluminum material that virtually soaks up light. Ideal for masking light leaks and/or eliminating unwanted reflections. It can be quickly molded to form barndoors, flags and other configurations. Lightweight, yet durable, Cinefoil can be quickly positioned in place with tape, staples or adhesives.

ROSCO CHROMA KEY PAINT – GREEN – 1 GALLON
Rosco Chroma Key Paints have been formulated with the assistance of video technicians throughout the country. They are manufactured to provide the high luminance values and color saturation for keying effects.
FINISH: Matte.
SOLVENT: Water.
BINDER TYPE: Vinyl Acrylic.
DILUTION: Use straight out of the can. If necessary, dilute with water. Diluting Chroma Key paints may make coverage less even.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dirt and grease. Prime porous surfaces, except fabrics. If painting a new plaster surface, prime wall with a commercial primer/sealer designed for raw plaster.
APPLICATION: Stir contents before use. Do not shake. Apply by brush, roller, or spray gun. Apply in thin, even, uniform coats, using a good quality brush or roller. Use overlapping strokes, keeping a wet edge. Change roller direction often to avoid patterns and streaking.
FILM THICKNESS: 2 mil. Dry Film.
COVERAGE: Appx 300 sq. ft. per gallon.
AVG. DRY TIME: AT 75°F (24°C) Dries to the touch in 30 minutes. Can be re-coated in 1-2 hours.
CLEAN-UP: Soap and water.
SHELF LIFE: Minimum 24 months.

Helpful in balancing brightness of lamps of different wattage. (Transmission = 25%).
