The basic lighthood serves as light shield permitting viewing in brighter areas. The basic lighthood consists of a self-supporting flexible bellows identical with the bellows of the basic compendium. The basic lighthood is slotted behind groundglass and Fresnel screen in to the third groove of the groundglass back.
